In the Aspens
--
Tall trunks break the surface in long, vertical strokes, and the thinner branches are laid in with quick, pale lines across them. The bark shifts between smooth, brushed passages and heavier dragged marks, so the surface keeps a visible hand. Light catches the lighter trunks and leaves a softer glow in the middle, while the darker areas are worked more thinly. A warm bull elk form sits among the trees, partially folded into the marks around it.
